What is Ketosis
So what is ketosis? this is a question I was asking my self only ten minutes ago and now im writing an article about it. Not only is it easy to understand what ketosis is but its that easy you can do the same as me and teach someone else about it after glancing through this article.
Basically, Ketosis is when you reach a stage commonly known as ketogenesis which can be achieved when the carbohydrate level in your body is concentrated. This actually occurs when your body is or thinks it is fasting and as a result it produces ketones whose function is to act as a source of energy for your body during the time it thinks that it is fasting (so ketones do not exist in your body unless you actually reach ketosis).
A key point of ketones is to help increase blood to the brain which may be prevented if they did not kick in. The fact that the fat in your body is being used for your ketosis or diversion of energy means that the fat is actually being used and as a result decreasing the fat in your body.
Another thing to remember about ketosis is that various tests such as tests where you urinate (typically on a stick) can also let you get the ketosis byproduct that is produced by your body known as acetone.
