Water makes you feel full

Believe it or not water actually makes you feel full, however this is seriously debatable and it varies from person to person if water actually does make you feel full. Although many weight loss professionals and even self proclaimed fanatics will argue tooth and nail that this is one of the best ways to lose weight, I personally feel it is one of the ‘least working’ methods and it doesn’t work for me at all. Although it makes your stomach feel like its full it doesn’t stop you feeling hungry.

This method is actually related to the method that does work which is the drink water before every meal article. The reason that I feel that method works is because prior to eating you drink the water making your stomach feel full and as a result you eat less but as your still eating food meaning your not actually feeling hungry. The reason the ‘water makes you feel full’ generally does not work is because as I mentioned previously it typically doesnt take away the feeling of hunger.

On another note however, when snacking the drinking water principal can apply as it will work in a similar way to the drink water before every meal article by making snacks feel more filling.

Since you should drink water on a regular basis anyway though, the things highlighted in this article should be easy to apply. If your going to drink water in general anyway just make sure you also consume it when snacking or eating your main meals.
