Spinning bike classes
If youve ever watched the biggest loser (a tv show in America, Australia and the UK and probably some other versions for other countries) then you most likely know what a spinning bike is. A spinning bike as a refresher is basically like an exercise bike but with discs inside of it and they can vary to create the illusion of a real bike with hills and all of the things associated with bike riding, its essentially a simulation.
You can either buy a spinning bike and use it on your own or alternatively you can go to a spinning class and theres a good chance that theres a spinning class in your area as its becoming more and more popular by the day. The spinning classes will typically involve high quality spinning bikes with the changeable resistances.
If your looking at going to a spinning class then expect to go in a room with a good number of spinning bikes in a layout suitable for an instructor to talk to all of the customers at the same time. I dont know for sure but if you do take a class then theres a good chance they will be full so you want to get in quick if this is for you.
Spinning bikes are not only just a great piece of exercise equipment in general but they are also great depending on your country and surroundings as in hot countries such as australia it may be to hot to go bike riding for 20–30 minutes+ and in cold countries such as england it might be raining or to cold to go bike riding so this is another use for the spinning bikes.
Now that weve covered spinning bikes in general though, we need to analyse if they are actually effective for losing weight in general and losing weight fast. Well, if you think a regular exercise bike is effective then you dont even need to ask about a spinning bike as they have resistance settings meaning that you can make it extremely hard almost like going up a steep hill or you can make it easier like on a flat surface. If you are going to use a spinning bike though, its recommended that you also get a heart reate monitor and use the exercise bike at the right setting for optimum weight loss. Chances are though if your in a class then you will be motivated anyway by the instructor and the others who are exercising with you.
If you do find a spinning bike class then you should note that there is no guarantee on how long the class will last and how much the class will cost as that is set by the gym or other facility you use.You should also try and find out how often you would like to do the class and then base the rest of your exercise regime around it. A good method in my opinion is maybe three exercise classes a week with the spin bike and another two times a week you should do something such as running, jogging or weight lifting.
Whatever you decide to do though with your spin biking, good luck and lose as much weight as you can and lose the weight fast.
