I prob­a­bly dont have to intro­duce this arti­cle with a believe it not intro­duc­tion because theres a good chance you already know what im talk­ing about as stress preys on every­one at some time in their lives. Stress is not only bad for your health due to the nature of stress but as you already prob­a­bly know stress can also be a killer. If your want­ing to lose weight then you should definetly do what you can do com­bat stress. Even if your not try­ing to lose weight though you should still avoid being stressed out as it can neg­a­tively impact not only your life expectancy but it can also make you look older then you are and im sure thats the last thing a lot of peo­ple want, espe­cially women who spend money on anti-aging prod­ucts to make them look younger.

Although you might of read the above and thought ‘stress doesnt make you gain weight, it makes you lose it’ it actu­ally can. Im not dis­put­ing that lots of peo­ple actu­ally lose weight under stress but there it is also com­mon and a known fact that lots of peo­ple also gain lots of weight under stress by com­fort eat­ing and other things that hap­pen such as throw­ing your metab­o­lism out of whack and ulti­mately slow­ing it down which makes it harder for your body to process food.

If your suf­fer­ing from stress and you also suf­fer from your weight then there really is a very good chance that the two are related as they both go hand in hand. Although im not say­ing stress is a good thing as it is def­i­nitely bad in either form but if your not one of those peo­ple who do lose weight under stress then you should sur­round your self with pos­i­tive peo­ple that are sup­port­ive and will ulti­mately help you feel ‘un-stressed’.
