Reduce your stress
I probably dont have to introduce this article with a believe it not introduction because theres a good chance you already know what im talking about as stress preys on everyone at some time in their lives. Stress is not only bad for your health due to the nature of stress but as you already probably know stress can also be a killer. If your wanting to lose weight then you should definetly do what you can do combat stress. Even if your not trying to lose weight though you should still avoid being stressed out as it can negatively impact not only your life expectancy but it can also make you look older then you are and im sure thats the last thing a lot of people want, especially women who spend money on anti-aging products to make them look younger.
Although you might of read the above and thought ‘stress doesnt make you gain weight, it makes you lose it’ it actually can. Im not disputing that lots of people actually lose weight under stress but there it is also common and a known fact that lots of people also gain lots of weight under stress by comfort eating and other things that happen such as throwing your metabolism out of whack and ultimately slowing it down which makes it harder for your body to process food.
If your suffering from stress and you also suffer from your weight then there really is a very good chance that the two are related as they both go hand in hand. Although im not saying stress is a good thing as it is definitely bad in either form but if your not one of those people who do lose weight under stress then you should surround your self with positive people that are supportive and will ultimately help you feel ‘un-stressed’.
You can also try a variety of other methods to stop being stressed such as buying your self a stress ball.
