Kissing can be just as affective as walking
Believe it or not but kissing can be just as affective as walking. Although it doesnt seem to be much it can burn quite a lot of calories with minimum work required. Apparently and im not sure how true this is by the way, kissing burns between four and seven calories per minute. Although your probably not going to kiss day in day out for an hour session just to lose some weight, over the period of a year it adds up and actually becomes quite a lot of calories. For example, if you kiss for one minute a day at say 5 calories lost and then you multiply that by 365 that becomes one thousand eight hundred and twenty five which is almost a days calorie intake just from kissing each day.
Something else thats interesting is if you walk on a treadmill for twenty minutes on the walking pace setting you will burn roughly 100 calories in twenty minutes. If you can burn 5 calories per minute of kissing that works out to also be a good one hundred calories per twenty minutes of kissing. So there you have it, kissing can be as effective as walking and depending on if your in a relationship it can be easier and more affective.
Since kissing also releases endorphins into your body which makes you not only happier but more stress free you can gain both of the benefits of kissing in one go. You can get a super sized portion of endorphins after a twenty minute session and you can also burn a good one hundred calories meaning once your done you can go and relax with a coffee with added sugar or a tin of softdrink of your choice. Another option if your the romantic type is to enjoy some chocolate with your partner giving you yet another benefit as chocolate contains antioxidants.
