Im tak­ing a wild guess and say­ing that theres been atleast one time in your entire life that you have been out and about whether it was while out just in gen­eral, out at work, out at col­lege or school or even uni­ver­sity when you have maybe felt a bit hun­gry and as a result you have been influ­enced be it spur of the moment or not to go and buy a snack and most likely the snack would of been some­thing unhealthy like a choco­late bar or a burger or maybe chips. It would of been unhealthy though but if not then I apol­o­gize and good on you for hav­ing self con­trol over your actions.

I can say the above because not only from my self expe­ri­ence have I done this com­ing home from work or at col­lege etc but I have noticed 0ther peo­ple doing it on pretty much spur of the moment just because theyre hun­gry. Buy­ing snacks be it spur of the moment or not is not only bad for your health but it can also be an expen­sive practice.

The idea of hav­ing snacks with you that are healthy is so you can com­bat the above and instead of seek­ing out your local take­away or vend­ing machine you can sim­ply whip your snack out of your bag and sit and eat that instead.

The only issue that you have with bring­ing a snack of your own instead of going and pur­chas­ing goods from vend­ing machines etc is choos­ing what you can actu­ally use as a snack. Part of this issue is find­ing some­thing you can take as a snack that wont go ‘funny’ while in stor­age how­ever another issue is find­ing a snack to take in the first place and this is a com­mon issue among those want­ing to lose weight.

Some snack ideas for you to take with you include fruit, low carb and fat rice snacks and another poten­tial thing is salad.
