Exercise reduces stress
We all know exercise isnt overly exciting and its probably not a word you use often but it has more benefits then you could possibly imagine. If you exercise on a daily basis it not only makes you a more general person overall but it also helps to eliminate the chance of getting stressed and any existing stress. Note though that its not guaranteed to eliminate stress however it is a key part in helping to reduce the amount of stress you face.
I feel confident in saying I will put money on it that on at least three occasions in the last year you have heard of someone friend or not say that they went to the doctors over an issue only to be told that its stress related. In fact, I can think of over five people that I know who have gone to the doctor only to be told that their problem theyre experiencing is stress related.
In most cases, people who hear others say their problem is stress related will laugh at them and say that the doctor simply doesnt know what they are talking about and what the problem is. Realistically though, stress plays a huge role in most dieases and health issues.
If you want to not only improve your immune system but to also decrease your stress levels then you should use exercise as a key method of doing so. Just because your going to exercise though, it doesnt mean you need to go out and buy a load of expensive exercise equipment, you can simply use free and natural exercise methods such as walking, running, doing sit-ups, doing pushups or even weights if you want to increase your muscle mass.
Another good form of exercise is to do some aerobics. You can get some good quality aerobics videos for a cheap price at almost any discount variety store or even video rental store if you only want to rent one. If this isnt what you want to do then you can simply revert to the other exercise mentioned above and just walk or run instead.
If your main goal is simply to eliminate your stress then you dont need to work out as such or do physical exercise like running you can simply go out of your way to take the stairs instead of the elevator or park further away from the shops etc and you will be surprised how stress free you actually become.
If you are a generally unfit person then you should take precautions to protect your knees from pain as they will be unused and you could seriously hurt your self if your not stretched etc. Some examples for this include getting your self a jogging board which makes it easier for you to do stationary exercise and make it easier on your knees as its a padded board.
Overall, if you are a sufferer of stress then you should go out of your way to find a suitable exercise to help not only increase your life expectancy but to also make your self feel better overall.
