Eat slower
Believe it or not, this easy way to lose weight method is one of the easiest things to follow and also one of the most effective ways to lose weight fast. Not only is this weight loss method a short term solution for losing weight but its also a long term method and should be implemented into your everyday dieting and routine. As it apparently takes ten days to form a habbit, this technique should be easy to adapt.
Essentially, the technique is about eating slower. Although this sounds simple and insignificant it is probably one of the most effective things when looking at losing weight. If you analyse everyone you know who is over weight theres an extremely good chance that they are all fast eaters and not the more preferable slower eater. If this is not the case with people you know, experiment your self. Try eating a meal one day by eating is fast and then another day try eating the same meal and portion size but slow. There is a good chance that by eating slow you will feel more full and there is an easy answer as to why this is the case. Typically when you eat slow, it gives your food time to digest and as a result makes you feel full. If you eat fast you will typically still be hungry due to the food not ‘digesting’ however once digested you will feel bloated, its a common problem.
The reason that you do not feel full after eating fast but you do after eating slow is because it takes your body between ten and fifteen minutes from getting full to actually register and feel full. By eating slow it gives your body time to register this and actually feel full.
Another fact that you should look at when eating food and eating it slow is that by chewing it more you actually manage to gain more nutrients out of the food and as a result not only do you manage to feel fuller but your body also gets the healthy minerals that are within the food.
So when eating remember to eat slowly for all around better results.
