Don’t starve yourself
When your initially wanting to lose weight and you dont know anything about it, its a common idea to starve your self as this in many peoples logic sounds like a brilliant way to lose those extra pounds. Realistically though its the completely wrong way to go as it has lots and lots of negative side effects.
To sum this article up before I even finish it,im going to be blunt with you and say starving your self really does not work what so ever. Not only is it hard to withstand eating food as you will be constantly hungry but it ruins your concentration as you will most likely do nothing but constantly think about food. Not to mention, if you do have the will to not eat and starve your self then you should have the will to still eat and not be hungry but to simply eat more healthier and do a bit more exercise. Realistically this is not only the easiest option but is probably the all around best option.
Another thing to consider is that when you do not eat, your body actually goes into starvation mode or survival mode as you may want to call it. If truth be told I actually dont know the right name for it so both of those might be wrong. It does however slow down your metabolism a huge amount in order to carefully use the fat that is stored in your body as energy so you burn minimal energy compared to what you normally would.
If you do manage to lose a kilogram or two then fair enough you will be happy but you need to acknowledge that there’s a very good chance it will come back once you go back to normal. Not only will it come back but it will probably come back with additional weight gain making you even fatter then before.
So not only does starving your self not work but it takes a huge toll on your body.
