This arti­cle is prob­a­bly one of the most impor­tant arti­cles you will ever read, despite it being partly com­mon knowl­edge. I remem­ber being maybe five or six years old and going through the phase of  ‘im not hun­gry, I dont want break­fast’ and that phase prob­a­bly lasted a good few years untill I started eat­ing it again. As I got older though and started work­ing and going to col­lege etc, I yet again stopped eat­ing break­fast due to the lack of time that I had etc. I can hon­estly say from per­sonal expe­ri­ence that break­fast is impor­tant, Ive noticed my self that when I didnt eat break­fast I felt hun­gry within a cou­ple of hours of get­ting to work and as a result couldnt con­cen­trate partly because of being hun­gry and partly because of the lack of energy.

Putting my per­sonal expe­ri­ence to one side and look­ing at the whole break­fast issue from another point of view you can see the same results. There has actu­ally been research done that shows that not eat­ing break­fast can cause you exactly the prob­lems I described above.

If after read­ing this you have decided you still dont want break­fast then you can skip the bit below, if you have seen sense how­ever then keep read­ing for infor­ma­tion on what you should eat for your breakfast.

Gen­er­ally, if your eat­ing break­fast then it should be food that is pri­mar­ily made up of c0mplex car­bo­hy­drates.  Com­plex car­bo­hy­drates are typ­i­cally found in high starch foods such as rice and pota­toes. It is actu­ally rec­om­mended that your over­all diet is made up of atleast fifty per­cent com­plex carbohydrates. 

When it comes to your break­fast meal though, your typ­i­cally not going to eat rice or pota­toes unless your hav­ing a full Eng­lish break­fast with hash browns which is not rec­om­mended and is def­i­nitely not healthy..at all..

Get­ting back on track though in regards to what you should eat for break­fast, you should con­sume things like oat­meal and eggs.
