Dont Skip Breakfast
This article is probably one of the most important articles you will ever read, despite it being partly common knowledge. I remember being maybe five or six years old and going through the phase of ‘im not hungry, I dont want breakfast’ and that phase probably lasted a good few years untill I started eating it again. As I got older though and started working and going to college etc, I yet again stopped eating breakfast due to the lack of time that I had etc. I can honestly say from personal experience that breakfast is important, Ive noticed my self that when I didnt eat breakfast I felt hungry within a couple of hours of getting to work and as a result couldnt concentrate partly because of being hungry and partly because of the lack of energy.
Putting my personal experience to one side and looking at the whole breakfast issue from another point of view you can see the same results. There has actually been research done that shows that not eating breakfast can cause you exactly the problems I described above.
If after reading this you have decided you still dont want breakfast then you can skip the bit below, if you have seen sense however then keep reading for information on what you should eat for your breakfast.
Generally, if your eating breakfast then it should be food that is primarily made up of c0mplex carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates are typically found in high starch foods such as rice and potatoes. It is actually recommended that your overall diet is made up of atleast fifty percent complex carbohydrates.
When it comes to your breakfast meal though, your typically not going to eat rice or potatoes unless your having a full English breakfast with hash browns which is not recommended and is definitely not healthy..at all..
Getting back on track though in regards to what you should eat for breakfast, you should consume things like oatmeal and eggs.
