Don’t give up
This article isnt about losing weight but it is about helping you in the long run with that goal of losing your excess weight. Everyone who has ever tried to lose weight has probably not only had doubts before during and most likely even after but lots of them probably gave up or at minimum considered giving up. If you give up at anything wether its weight loss or weight gain then your not going to reach your goal and your going to be still swamped with the problem that was bothering you in the first place.
This article actually reminds me of an episode I watched of the popular television show ‘everybody hates chris’ by chris rock. If you havnt watched it before then no need to worry as you dont need knowledge of the program to follow what im going to say. In the episode that I watched of everybody hates chris, it was newyears eve and the main characters dad was stuck in traffic because someone was going to jump off of the bridge. The dad got out of his truck and climbed onto the bridge to talk the man down so he could go home and not be gridlocked. Since its a comedy, it made the best of the scenario and showed you the dad going on and on about people in history who didnt give up and thats my point. There is literally thousands of famous people who have contributed a lot to society who if they gave up couldnt of done so. Some examples include football teams (not a contribution to society though) and other famous people such as singers and even activists like martin king and many more.
The key to combat giving up comes with self control. Just because something hasn’t gone your way or for some reason youve been physically hindered by the cold or something similar it doesn’t mean you need to give up as there are plenty of minor things you can do to ensure you maintain your weight and in most cases even still lose some in your down time.
