Bread is bad
If you speak to anyone about losing weight wether its a proffessional personal trainer, fitness fanatic, every day healthy person or even your typical over weight citizen they will all tell you the same thing and that is that bread is bad. The reason being for them being able to tell you bread is bad is because its common knowledge that bread contains a high ammount of fat and an equally high ammount of carbohydrates which causes you to struggle maintaining your weight and ultimately causing you to gain weight.
Although when you think about it, bread is a actually a staple to most people in their diets due to things such as sandwiches for either tea/dinner/lunch/snack etc or toast for breakfast/supper etc. Its actually hard to imagine having a sandwich without the bread as im sure eating just the meat out of the sandwich would not be filling at all.
If you research the typical carbohydrate free diet (a diet that avoids foods containing carbohydrates) it avoids your pastas and other carb rich foods as well as most commonly it avoids bread due to its carbohydrate content and believe it or not the carb free diet actually works and it apparently works quite well as well.
Although bread doesnt sound like a big deal and realisitically most people although consuming it probably twice a day actually dont consume all that much of it but if you get into the whole bread issue you will find its part responsible for most peoples weight problem/s.
Although you should avoid bread alltogether, if you cant avoid bread then you should atleast make it your duty to try and stick to the wholegrain bread. Although wholegrain bread is still bread and naturally carries most of breads burdens, its still more healthy and contains significantly less callories and carbohydrates.
Another plus point about wholegrain bread is that it contains high ammounts of fibre which is good for you.
